The Committee

Terms of Use

Last updated October 9, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and The Committee when you use our app or website. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. One account per person, and keep your sign-in email to yourself.

Be decent

The Committee is for getting your friends’ take, not for going after anyone. Don’t use it to:

Blur names and numbers before you share a screenshot. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with, only so we can run The Committee. When you delete something, we remove it from the app.

Committee+

Committee+ is an optional subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel in your store account settings, and the store’s refund rules apply. Prices are shown before you buy.

No guarantees

Your committee’s verdicts are opinions from your friends, not professional advice. If you feel unsafe, contact local emergency services. We work hard to keep The Committee running and secure, but it’s provided “as is,” and to the extent the law allows we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for what other users post.

Ending things

You can stop using The Committee and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect.
